(English Abstract)
The marine environment is a LoS (line of sight) environment suitable for LPWA technology, but for services that provide location, there is a problem that it is difficult to operate the GPS for a long time in order to locate the installed module. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to reduce power consumption by reducing GPS operation time. The proposed algorithm is compared with the maximum output mode and the Eco mode of the GPS module. As a result, we show that the proposed algorithm reduces the current consumption by 96 ~ 97%.
